Rules of Discipline

  • Registration and a test are required for admission. On payment, forms of Application for Registration will be available from the school office beginning March 1st each year
  • The minimum age for admission to Nursery/PG is 3 or 4 years. Only in extreme circumstances, at the discretion of the management, is the age relaxed.
  • Students must be on time and dressed neatly in clean school uniforms. The school identity card must be worn at all times by all students. (i.e. during school hours.)
  • No student is permitted to leave the classroom without the approval of the teacher.
  • Students changing classrooms must walk in a single line and in silence.
  • When attending school, female students are not permitted to wear jewellery, have long nails, or apply nail polish/kajal, or mehandi. Every time a boy student goes to class, he must have his hair cut properly. Long hair is prohibited, as are long nails.
  • In order to improve their command of the English language, which is the medium of instruction for all subjects, students are required to communicate only in English on school grounds.
  • All school property must be treated with care, and no student shall scrape or spoil the desks or chairs, or damage any school equipment, nor shall any student write or draw anything on the walls, or in any way harm the property of others. Even if the damage is caused by accident, it must be notified to the school officials right away. Any damage, even if caused by accident, must be notified to the school administration immediately. Any damage caused will be repaired by the student who caused it.
  • Running and shouting are not permitted within the school grounds. Everyone must stick to the left when traversing the stairwells and passageways. Even during recess, walking or standing about the office area or the visitors' lobby is prohibited.
  • Students are not permitted to leave the premises of the institution. Without the principal's consent.
  • There will be no examinations or unit tests for absentees before or after the specified hour.
  • Students who cheat on tests, exams, or other assessments will receive a zero in the subject. If you commit the same offence again, you will be terminated.
  • A student who fails two classes in a row or is two years or more over the age limit will not be allowed to stay in the school.
  • All students must be present on the last working day of school before the start of Summer Vacations and on the first day back after Summer Vacations. If a student is missing on any of these days, the Principal will impose a reasonable penalty at his or her discretion. A student's name will be stricken from the school rolls if he or she is absent without leave for six days or more. Re-admission is at the sole discretion of the Principal and is contingent on a seat being available. In such circumstances, the students will be charged full re-admission fees.
  • Students are not allowed to bring cell phones to school, and iPods and cameras will be confiscated and retained by the Principal. The mobile phones will be returned to the concerned parent only when the parents have written assurance that their child or ward will not bring the phone to school again.
  • Students must bring everything they need for the day to school. No tiffin boxes, water bottles, or other products will be permitted for delivery to the students at the reception desk for security concerns.
